PA to the Head of Primary – Logan Village

This is a full-time (5 days per week) position commencing Term 4, 2025.

We are seeking a highly competent, professional, and solutions-focused Personal Assistant to support the Head of Primary. The successful applicant will be a confident problem-solver, resilient under pressure, and able to maintain professionalism in every situation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar and diary management for the Head of Primary
  • Coordinate correspondence, including risk assessments and tours
  • Reporting and timetabling support
  • Organise and book interviews
  • Manage administration for purchases, credit card, and budget queries
  • Oversee Celebration Night administration
  • Facilitate administration for Primary events (e.g. ANZAC Day)
  • Act as first point of contact for staff and parents seeking to connect with the Head of Primary
  • Manage maintenance requests
  • Build strong, professional relationships with staff across the college
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as directed by the Head of Primary and the PA to the Principal

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a PA or similar high-level administrative role
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and act decisively
  • Strong emotional resilience – able to stay professional, composed, and objective
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced communication skills – clear, professional, and confident (written and verbal)
  • Strong time management with the ability to prioritise competing demands effectively
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Current Working with Children Check

  • at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).
