Education Support Officer (ESO) - Reedy Creek Campus
We are seeking an experienced Teacher Aide (Education Support Officer) to join our High School team at our Reedy Creek Campus.
Our Education Support Officers (ESOs) provide in‑class support to students with diverse learning needs and assists with approved exam and assessment adjustments. The role focuses on helping students engage with learning, access the curriculum, and feel supported, while working collaboratively with teachers to meet individual student needs in a calm and discreet manner.
This is a Full Time, Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm, (Term Time) position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with understanding tasks, staying organised, and engaging in learning.
- Provide gentle scaffolding while encouraging independence.
- Share observations with teachers to help meet students’ individual needs.
- Deliver approved adjustments such as reader, scribe, prompting, separate supervision, or extra time.
- Support students calmly during assessments and follow assessment integrity requirements.
- Work closely with teachers and the Learning Enrichment team.
- Follow teacher direction and maintain clear, professional communication.

- Ability to follow teacher direction and apply strategies consistently
Role requirements:
- Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent
- Current Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card)
- Experience working with children and young people with extra support needs (highly preferred)

- at least 2 recent professional referees
- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
